New York, November 28, 2023] – AIESEC US, the leading youth-run non-profit organization committed to empowering young individuals through transformative international experiences, proudly announces its participation in GlobalTuesday, a worldwide movement that harnesses collective generosity to create lasting impact.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lie at the heart of AIESEC's mission, and #GivingTuesday serves as a significant platform to amplify our commitment. This year's campaign, Empower Tomorrow's Leaders, is poised to make a profound difference by providing scholarships that foster education equality and empower young leaders from diverse backgrounds.

Your donation will support young students, with limited financial resources, in accessing life-changing international experiences through AIESEC's Global Volunteer Exchange program. This initiative not only enriches their personal and cultural growth but also equips them with essential leadership skills.

"These scholarships have a tangible impact on the lives of young people who may otherwise face financial barriers," said Abiseniya Lemma, CEO and President at AIESEC US. "By providing them with the means to engage in the Global Volunteer Exchange program, we're not only supporting their educational journey but also nurturing the next generation of global citizens."

AIESEC US’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

AIESEC US is deeply committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly #4 Quality Education, #10 Reduced Inequalities, and #13 Climate Action. Through the Global Volunteer Exchange program, participants contribute to these goals by engaging in community development projects that promote education, reduce inequalities, and address climate-related challenges.

"In a world that often grapples with inequality and division, AIESEC US stands as a beacon of hope, championing the values of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration," added Soraya Morales. "Our GlobalTuesday campaign is a testament to our unwavering dedication to creating positive change and fostering an environment where every young person has the opportunity to thrive."

As we join hands on this GlobalTuesday, we invite individuals, companies, foundations, and organizations to be part of our mission. Your contribution will make a tangible impact, shaping a future where education is a bridge to opportunities, young leaders are empowered to lead with empathy, and global citizenship is a reality.
